Folic acid (vitamin B9, vitamin B11, vitamin M, folacin or folate) is necessary for all cells in our body. Folic acid is involved in the synthesis of nucleic acids, from which DNA, our genetic blueprint, is formed. It therefore influences the regulation, growth, and functioning of all cells. Folic acid and vitamin B12 also participate in the formation and maturation of erythrocytes.
Folic acid participates in maintaining healthy homocysteine levels. It can convert it into cysteine, present in almost all proteins, especially hair keratin, or into methionine. Methionine is transformed to produce calming serotonin, which helps us fall into deep and relaxing sleep. Many products contain a large amount of folic acid; unfortunately, it breaks down quite easily when exposed to heat and sunlight. Interestingly, our body can only absorb 50% of this vitamin from diet, whereas it can absorb nearly 100% in synthetic form. Therefore, even if our diet is rich in folic acid, additional support in the form of supplementation is also beneficial.

INGREDIENTS
Folic acid; bulking agent - microcrystalline cellulose; binding agent - dicalcium phosphate; anti-caking agents - silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Take one (1) tablet per day, preferably with a meal.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute (replacement) for a varied diet.

CONTRANDICATIONS
Pregnancy and breastfeeding period, hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep out of reach of young children. Store in a dry place, avoid excessive heat. Do not use if the seal under the cap is damaged or missing.
