Denver Food Gluten-Free Amaranth is sourced from certified organic farming. Amaranth is one of the most widely cultivated grains (although classified as a pseudocereal), known long before wheat. It originates from the regions of South America where it was used to produce flour. What sets amaranth apart is its very high iron content, which it contains 5 times more than spinach.
