Ammonia water, or liquid ammonia, is a reagent used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, rubber, tanning, and dye industries. It can be used to remove chinchin, tar, silver oxide, and rust from all types of metals. It is also used to neutralize acids, disinfect breeding tanks, and clean and degrease galvanized sheets before painting. A highly irritating product with an ammoniacal odor. Reacts dangerously with oxygen, chlorine, and iodine.
