Bochnia salt has a high ion content: cations and anions. These include sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and manganese cations, as well as chloride, iodide, bromide, and fluoride anions. Salco salt is a natural mineral concentrate that has a positive effect on the body.
The raw material comes from a unique deposit of concentrated iodine-bromine brines from the Miocene period. Production is carried out in accordance with pharmaceutical manufacturing standards. Extracting these brines is a 40-year-old tradition.
A warm brine bath prepared with our salt acts on both the skin and mucous membranes, and indirectly on the entire body. The appropriate temperature and concentration of brine cause the skin to relax, allowing for the absorption of minerals. By decongesting the sweat glands, they excrete metabolic products. The brine bath stimulates biochemical processes during and long after the treatment. It has a positive effect on strengthening the body and can accelerate regeneration after exercise. It can also facilitate adaptation to higher training loads. It allows the skin to absorb minerals and can alleviate the effects of fatigue. Bath preparation:
Recovery after exercise: Ideally after intense training or competition (1 to 2 kg per 100 liters of water).

Body maintenance: Use two to three times a week, especially during periods of fatigue or reduced immunity. (1 kg per 100 liters of water).
Add 1 to 2 kg of salt to the bath with water and stir until completely dissolved. Bath time: at least 20 minutes.

If possible, do not rinse the body. Formed on the surface of the skin, the so-called "salt mantle" is a desirable external stimulus, prolonging the positive effect of the brine. The low amount of solid impurities results from the natural origin of the raw material and the salt boiling process.
It is recommended to gradually adapt the body to the brine bath by extending the treatment time, increasing the water temperature and the concentration of the solution. After leaving the bath, replenish the sweated body fluids.
