DESCRIPTION :

The fresh, sweet Virginia cedarwood is actually extracted from a tree in the Cupressaceae family. The bark of a tree grown in the United States and Canada is steam distilled to release a fresh, woody essential oil. Cedarwood has been used for many years, with Native Americans peeling the bark from the trunk to make everything from household items to totem poles, and modern manufacturers have used it to craft custom furniture. In practice, Virginian Cedarwood aromatherapy is used in massage blends to improve circulation, relieve muscle pain, and eliminate toxins from the body. It also has a natural antibacterial and disinfectant effect and is often used in formulations for the care of oily or problem skin. Like Cedarwood Atlas, this oil can also be used through steam inhalation or in a diffuser as a decongestant for cold and flu symptoms.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

In the vaporizer: Add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to the vaporizer or burner. Inhalation: Add 3 to 5 drops of essential oil to a bowl of very hot water, inhale the vapors for 5 to 10 minutes. (Inhalation for children over 10 years old only.) For massage: Dilute 5 drops of essential oil with 10 ml of carrier oil such as almond oil or jojoba oil. Bath: Add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil to 20 ml of carrier oil. Stir in water.
