Pickles are a popular food product in Poland; numerous health-promoting and nutritional properties allow us to call them our native superfood . Pickled products are produced under the influence of lactic fermentation, in the presence of Lactobacillus Plantarum , Leuconostoc mesenteroides and Pediococcus Cerevisiae . The probiotics contained in the silage promote digestion and have a positive effect on the intestinal flora, while vitamin C supports the immune system.
Cauliflower is a type of vegetable cabbage. This vegetable, already known in ancient Greece and Rome, is one of the most valuable foods, due to the richness of nutrients it contains, as well as its dietary and taste qualities. Cauliflower contains, among other vitamins - B1 , B2 , B6 , C and K - and minerals - iron, copper, zinc, potassium, magnesium, calcium, manganese, phosphorus, fluorine, chlorine, iodine.
Pickled cauliflower is a great addition to dinner, as well as a great standalone snack.
