Kaneka is a reduced form of CoQ10. More than 90% of the total Q10 stored in the human body is in the form of ubiquinol. It is a biologically active form - it does not require any transformation in the body (unlike ubiquinone, which the body must convert (reduce) to ubiquinol) and can be completely absorbed by the body.
