DESCRIPTION
Tambora chai is an excellent healthy snack for lovers of intense, original flavors. After extracting the cocoa beans from the fruit and drying them, they are roasted with organic spices, giving them a deep dark chocolate flavor enriched with oriental notes of cloves and cardamom. They are suitable for eating whole, or for preparing desserts or dry dishes.

The cocoa beans of the excellent Criollo variety come from the Fair Trade Cooperativa Argaria Cafeterela "Satipo" cooperative in Peru. The cocoa trees are grown in a completely natural way in the shade of the trees, which ensures a close, natural ecosystem, and the birds nesting in the treetops are a natural enemy of many potential pests. The Satipo cooperative has been part of the Fair Trade system for many years, thanks to which it can finance training and educational projects for its members.
