Psyllium is a common plant whose seeds provide large amounts of dietary fiber (mainly insoluble fiber). In practice, however, psyllium has not received the wide dissemination and recognition it deserves in Poland. In the southwestern European countries, Psyllium plantain is used as a mucilaginous raw material that promotes intestinal work and defecation. It is recommended for the elderly, pregnant women, and children. The psyllium seed husk has a mild, effective, and harmless effect.
The mechanism of action of the psyllium husk is that the seeds swell in the presence of water and produce significant amounts of mucus. Experiments have shown that the mucilage content of the husks is about 10 to 15%. The presence of water allows the husks to increase their volume up to 20 times. Therefore, ingestion of Psyllium increases the volume of the husks in the intestine, which stimulates peristalsis, and the mucilaginous texture facilitates the excretion of fecal masses. This mechanism is very effective and does not cause dependence.
An additional beneficial effect is the action of auxubin contained in the Psyllium plantain husks. Furthermore, the raw material contains inventin and emulsin, proteins, starch, 3% fatty oil, and some tannin-type compounds.

INGREDIENTS
Psyllium fiber powder, vegetable capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), anti-caking agent: vegetable magnesium stearate.

Daily serving content (2 capsules):
Psyllium fiber powder - 1000mg

APPLICATION
2 capsules per day.
Preferably take with a meal or as directed.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and people with health problems should consult a doctor before taking the product.
Do not take the product if the outer film has been removed or damaged so that it can be opened before purchase.
