DESCRIPTION
Organic unroasted buckwheat is most often used as an ingredient in dinners in combination with vegetables or stews and as an addition to soups, stews and pâtés. Buckwheat, as one of the few groats, exhibits an alkaline effect and helps maintain the acid-base balance in the body. Consuming buckwheat helps prevent constipation. Unroasted groats are not subjected to heat treatment, thanks to which they have a more delicate taste than roasted groats. It contains a large amount of protein.

PREPARATION
Boil the groats in salted water in a ratio of 1:2 (1 part groats to 2 parts water) over low heat for about 20 minutes.
