DESCRIPTION

Sesame halva is a traditional dessert, typical of the cuisines of Iran, Turkey, Israel, Arab countries, and many regions of the Balkans and Eastern Europe. In the traditional version, it consists of two ingredients. Agros Organic Aromatic Sesame Halva does not contain white sugar, but is sweetened with natural honey, rich in minerals. Sesame seeds are known for their high content of mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids, as well as niacin, i.e., vitamin B3 compounds, and a wealth of amino acids. Sesame oil provides the body with macronutrients such as phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and sodium, as well as iron, zinc, copper, and manganese. Good-quality sesame halva has beneficial properties for the body, including helping to regulate cholesterol levels and improving skin appearance. But above all, it's a nutritious snack that can successfully replace other sweets and processed foods. It's delicious on its own, as well as a complement to desserts or as a snack throughout the day.
