DESCRIPTION

Sesame halva is traditionally made in many countries in the Middle East, the Balkans, and Eastern Europe (mainly from sunflower seeds). Each of these regions is characterized by a slightly different selection of additives, such as poppy seeds, nuts, or dried fruits. Sesame seeds are rich in micro and macro elements such as phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, but also iron, copper, and manganese. They are also a natural source of niacin, i.e., vitamin B3 and its derivatives. They support metabolic processes, promote blood circulation in the skin, and also help lower bad cholesterol levels.
