Yerba mate, also known as mate tea, erva mate, or caá mate, is a Paraguayan drink known for its weight loss benefits, lowering "bad" cholesterol, improving blood circulation, and energizing properties. Yerba mate arrived in Europe as early as the 17th century thanks to the Jesuits, but it is only now being recognized and placed in the general consciousness. Yerba mate is made from dried and crushed leaves and sticks of Paraguayan holly, which is characterized by a high caffeine content and vitamins - A, B, C - and minerals - calcium, magnesium, zinc, silicon, iron, and potassium. SOTI Natural are artisanal cold-infusion products (the infusion process involves adding cold water or water at room temperature). This produces flavors different from those obtained with the traditional brewing method. Thanks to the cold infusion process (50-minute infusion process adjusted to 15 infusion parameters), the infusions contain the maximum amount of antioxidants and polyphenols.
