Comfrey is a popular plant in Europe and can be found in Poland. It is also found in Asia Minor and Central Asia and Siberia. 15% of comfrey root consists of mucus, which contains allantoin, silicon, asparagine, amino acids, tannins, fructans, essential oils, polyphenols, and beta-sitosterol. It is primarily used for skin and joint problems. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties and can be applied topically to painful areas. It has a warming effect and has a positive effect on the regeneration processes of the epidermis. In addition, comfrey has astringent and anti-wrinkle properties.
Macerate obtained by macerating comfrey root in cold-pressed organic sunflower oil (1:3). It contains fatty acids, minerals, and allantoin. The macerate has strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, regenerative, and analgesic properties. It can have a positive effect by relieving swelling and injuries, soothing redness, and reducing burns. After application, the skin becomes moisturized, smoother, and softer. It acts as a cosmetic for dry, delicate, sensitive, and damaged skin.
