Quatrefolic® Folate (active reduced folic acid)
Folate, or levomefolic acid (5-MTHF), is the active form of vitamin B9. Unlike synthetic pteroylmonoglutamic acid, folates do not need to be converted by the liver and pass directly into the bloodstream. The form of folate used in Quatrefolic® is the most absorbable and stable form, patented by the biotechnology company Gnosis S.p.A. P-5-P (coenzymatic vitamin B6): P-5-P, or pyridoxal phosphate, is the biologically active form of vitamin B6. Other forms of vitamin B6 (including the most common pyridoxine hydrochloride) are enzymatically converted in the liver to pyridoxal phosphate. P-5-P itself does not undergo this conversion. Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin): Vitamin B12 is a complex organic chemical compound containing cobalt, hence its other name cobalamin. The vitamin B12 contained in this preparation is methylcobalamin. This form of vitamin (unlike cyanocobalamin) does not require any conversion by the body.

Ingredients: thiamine, niacin (nicotinic acid/nicotinamide), choline, pantothenic acid (D-calcium pantothenate), inositol, para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), Orafti® inulin, riboflavin, vitamin B6 (P-5-P), biotin, Quatrefolic® folate ((6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt), vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), gelatin (capsule shell).

This dietary supplement contains no fillers, adsorbents, binders, preservatives, coatings, or unnecessary lubricants.
