Selenium is an element among the essential micronutrients that must be supplied to the body through diet. Natural sources of selenium include: nuts (Brazil nuts), seeds (sunflower seeds), meat, eggs, fish, seafood, and sprouts. Brewer's yeast, provided it is deactivated, is a very good source of selenium with high bioavailability. The chemical form of selenium plays a major role in its bioavailability; it exists in organic and inorganic forms. L-selenomethionine is the organic form of selenium, which has high bioavailability.

The preparation contains selenium in the form of L-Selenomethionine extracted from inactive yeast.

Properties of selenium:

• contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system and the thyroid gland,
• helps protect cells against oxidative stress,
• contributes to the proper course of superthermogenesis,
• contributes to the maintenance of healthy hair and nails.

Ingredients: inulin (chicory root), selenium (inactive yeast enriched with selenium, l-selenomethionine), gelatin (capsule shell).

The formulation also contains inulin from chicory root, which acts as a natural stabilizer in the capsule. Inulin is classified among prebiotics.

The dietary supplement does not contain unnecessary elements: fillers, adsorbents, binders, preservatives, coating agents, lubricants.
