Goldenrod honey is made from the pollen of goldenrod flowers. This plant is also called mimosa. It is characterized by yellow flowers and is found throughout Poland. It blooms around the turn of August and September, and also at the first frost. Goldenrod honey is a source of quercetin, vitamins, organic acids, and tannins. It has antibacterial properties and can strengthen the body, making it recommended for prophylactic use and during periods of reduced immunity. It supports the proper functioning of the kidneys and urinary system. Quercetin and rutin strengthen blood vessels and have a positive effect on blood circulation.
