Grey soap is a mixture of potassium salts, higher carboxylic acids, glycerin, citric acid, sodium chloride, and others.

Unlike sodium soaps, it contains no artificial dyes or fragrances, which means allergies caused by grey soap are much rarer than with other hygiene products. The scent of grey soap is almost imperceptible. It is recommended by dermatologists for washing and cleansing, especially for people with skin prone to irritation and oiliness, as well as for those suffering from allergies. It contains glycerin, which gently hydrates the skin. It does not damage washed fabrics and at the same time effectively removes dirt. It is environmentally friendly. Due to its gentle action, it is often recommended for children. It has disinfectant and antibacterial properties.
