Corn silk has diuretic, antispasmodic for the urinary and biliary tracts, and anti-inflammatory properties. It also promotes blood clotting.

Indications: To increase diuresis and improve urine flow in cases of urinary disorders. Corn silk is also used for inflammation of the kidneys and bladder, edema due to renal or bladder insufficiency, and as a supportive treatment for gallstones and liver conditions. Corn silk contains, among others, essential oil, saponins, tannins, reducing sugars, bitter compounds, vitamin K, and mineral salts rich in potassium.

Ingredients: 100% corn silk

Preparation: Pour 250 ml of water over 50 ml of corn silk, bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes. Drink in small sips throughout the day. Can be used in herbal blends according to proven recipes.
