Green Yerba Mate with Herbs and Fruits

A yerba with a fairly mild taste and good strength. Completely dust-free, it is easy to prepare and also suitable as a starter yerba. The leaves are dried with hot air, without smoke. This special treatment gives the dried leaves a bright green and herbaceous color.

Traditionally brewed yerba mate contains about 165 mg of caffeine, while a standard "espresso" contains about 40 to 50 mg. Yerba mate is rich in nutritional value. It is an important source of vitamins: A, B, C, E. It also contains 9 essential minerals and 15 amino acids.

The blend includes herbs and fruits with the following properties:

• Elderberry - effective aid in treating colds and all upper respiratory tract infections, anti-inflammatory properties, rich in minerals and vitamins, used to detoxify the body from toxins, auxiliary use as a pain reliever, also has diaphoretic properties.
• Siberian Ginseng - useful in treating colds, improves mental and physical performance and concentration, relieves stress, mitigates the effects of chemotherapy and radiation.
• Powdered green tea - rich in vitamins B, K, C and minerals, has antibacterial properties, promotes brain functions and concentration, strengthens the cardiovascular system.
• Coriander - promotes treatment of upper respiratory tract diseases, rich in B vitamins, cleanses the body of toxins, improves appetite, regulates intestinal function
• Field horsetail - rich in silicon, useful in treating ulcers, rheumatism, hemorrhages, tuberculosis, ulcers and other conditions, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action.

Preparation of yerba according to the traditional method:

1. Pour the yerba mate into a container from 1/2 to 3/4 of its volume (as needed).
2. Cover the container with your hand, turn it over and shake it several times.
3. Then tilt the container at a 45° angle so that the dried food rests on one side of the container.
4. Pour water at 70-80°C into the free space between the dried food and the container wall.
5. Close the mouthpiece of the bombilla with your thumb and insert the tube where you previously poured the water.
6. Set the prepared mate aside and wait about 2 to 3 minutes. Add a little more water and... it's done!

The mate prepared this way can be poured several times until the aroma is completely gone.

IMPORTANT: Remember not to stir the bombilla, as this may clog the tube.

Composition: 91.8% green mate (95% leaves and 5% stems) and 8.2% additives (Gun Powder green tea, Siberian ginseng, coriander fruits, elderberry fruits, field horsetail and natural grapefruit flavor).
