Palo Santo, translated into Polish, is the sacred tree. It lives mainly in the Americas: Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, Honduras, and the Galapagos Islands. It is used for religious and spiritual purposes by Inca shamans and in Catholic religious ceremonies in Latin America. It was believed that the smoke-cleansing ritual would attract good luck, purify the aura , and rid the room of bad energy.
