DESCRIPTION
Shoyu sauce has a slight alcoholic aftertaste—this is the result of wheat fermentation. Therefore, it is suitable for longer cooking; it is best added at the end of cooking a meal so that the sauce does not lose its characteristic flavor. Shoyu goes well with pickles, wok dishes, rice, noodles, sushi, sashimi, and cooked vegetables.
