DESCRIPTION
A light, sweet, and refreshing green tea with a hint of earth. Sencha is the most popular tea in Japan. It is made from the same green tea bushes that matcha comes from, except that in the case of sencha, they are not shaded during cultivation. Immediately after harvesting, the leaves are dried, which stops their oxidation process. After drying, the leaves curl into their characteristic "conifer" shape. Moya Sencha No. 21 is organically grown on the island of Kyushu from a second flush of tea with a very balanced flavor.
Sencha green tea is a rich source of antioxidants and vitamins. It has a positive effect on concentration, and the polyphenols it contains have numerous healing properties, including supporting the digestive system, helping burn unnecessary calories, and also improving the functioning of the circulatory system.
