Follow-up visit with body composition analysis in a dietetic office

Follow-up visits allow you to summarize the results of the recommendations and diet, check the patient's progress, correct any errors, and introduce changes to the following menus. During these meetings, the patient has the opportunity to dispel any doubts and discuss their feelings. Anthropometric measurements and body composition analysis are also performed during the meeting to compare the results with the baseline.

Body composition analysis
The analysis is performed using a Tanita body composition analyzer. It is a device that transmits an electrical impulse through the body. This impulse is completely harmless. Based on the bioimpedance of our tissues, i.e., their electrical resistance, the device is able to assess individual body parameters. It helps with individual diet selection and monitoring of the results achieved.

The analysis includes:
- body weight measurement
- body fat content (in % and kg)
- body water content (in % and kg)
- muscle mass (in kg)
- bone mass (in kg)
- BMI and BMR index
- metabolic age
- visceral fat content
- comparison to standards

Duration: 40 minutes.
