Lutein is a natural yellow-orange pigment belonging to the carotenoid group. The "free" lutein contained in the product comes from a marigold flower extract. The main characteristic of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (they neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals). Lutein (one of the carotenoids with the most powerful antioxidant properties) neutralizes free radicals formed in the eyeball under the influence of sunlight and the oxidative damage it causes. Lutein accumulates mainly in the macula, the eye structure responsible for color vision and visual acuity. Lutein (as well as zeaxanthin) is found in the retina and lens.
Zeaxanthin belongs to the carotenoid group, i.e., substances present in vegetables and fruits. The zeaxanthin contained in OmniXan is a patented carotenoid extracted from the fruit of the pepper. Zeaxanthin is found in the lens and retina of the eye, especially in the macula, which is responsible for visual acuity. The most important characteristic of carotenoids is their antioxidant effect (neutralizing the harmful effects of free radicals). Zeaxanthin (one of the carotenoids with the most powerful antioxidant properties), which is mainly concentrated in the eye tissues, promotes the destruction of free radicals formed under the influence of daylight and the oxidative damage it causes. Through its action, zeaxanthin alleviates symptoms of eye fatigue and supports the vision process.

INGREDIENTS
Lutein, zeaxanthin, sunflower oil, capsule shell: gelatin, humectant: glycerol, safflower oil, natural tocopherols.

APPLICATION
One capsule per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. The product is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
