Neither during the cotton growing and harvesting process, nor at any stage of sanitary napkin production, do they come into contact with chemicals. As a result, organic cotton remains white, clean, and flawless. During production, it was treated only with hydrogen peroxide. The absence of bleaching agents such as chlorine and other harsh bleaching agents ensures that the fibers of the sanitary napkins are hypoallergenic. This means that their contact with the skin does not cause allergies, irritation, or dermatitis. Cotton obtained and processed in this way retains maximum absorbency as well as natural softness and delicacy.
The VIVICOT BIO product line is the first biodegradable and compostable Italian sanitary napkins, pads, and tampons. These highly ethical products help reduce waste and increase the use of renewable resources. The napkins and sanitary towels are not only biodegradable but also fully compostable, even at home. This means they can be placed in a home composter after use. The same goes for the packaging, which looks like aluminum foil but is actually made of cornstarch. The cardboard box is recycled and can be recycled.
