DESCRIPTION
Shoyu sauce has a slight aftertaste—this is the result of wheat fermentation. Therefore, it is suitable for longer cooking times; it is best added at the end of a meal so that the sauce doesn't lose its characteristic flavor. Shoyu goes well with pickles, wok dishes, rice, noodles, sushi, sashimi, and cooked vegetables.
