ALGAEXP3 spirulina and chlorella are sustainably grown in a pristine site in southern India, without interfering with or affecting the natural aquatic ecosystems through harvesting processes. It all starts with a little laboratory water that contains microalgae cells (carefully identified - Arthrospira platensis and Chlorella vulgaris ). Grower Parry provides these cells with increasing water space under optimal conditions (sunlight, medium containing key nutrients, temperature) so that they can grow exponentially. This means that these freshwater microalgae species do not come from the ocean or sea, but can be found in nature - in a pond or lake.
